MISSION

Marin Conservatory Dance Company a non profit 501c-3  organization  is multi faceted, we will provide opportunities beyond the classroom for dancers enrolled at Marin Conservatory of Dance by participating in ballet competitions, as well as scholarships for students to train at Marin Conservatory of Dance. We also aim to provide fully funded bridging classes to students who are underserved in Marin County.

MCDC competition dancers will perform in 1-2 competitions yearly. Group choreography pieces are prepared and rehearsed in advance on Saturdays. 

Optional local opportunities within the community, such as volunteer opportunities with our upcoming bridging class and fundraising.

Membership is seasonal and follows an academic year. 

Every season is open to Marin Conservatory of Dance students in Levels 2C, 3A,4, 5, and 6. In addition, some dancers will be privately invited to join the company. The membership registration deadline for the 2024 Season is now closed.

MCDC competition choreography will be presented in the Marin Conservatory of Dance Spring Showcase programs.

MCDC is also excited  to offer a twice-a-year 8  week bridging class to underserved children from Marin City as an outreach that provides training in classical ballet. Any donation will help give this opportunity to children who may never experience the wonderful world of ballet! 

Scholarship donations will also provide students who have the desire and aptitude for classical ballet training to train in the Conservatory year round.
